Hi, and welcome back to part eight of our 12 part health series. It’s a known fact that subluxation is caused by stress. And There are 3 types of stress that cause this problem in your spine. They are thoughts, toxins, and trauma. I get it. We all have deadlines. Kids, school drop off and pick up. Bosses, breathing down our neck, financial stress.
I’m trying to make ends meet and to top it off, you have your partner and kids at home that also require your time, energy and focus. All of this emotional stress can put us in a constant sympathetic state, where stress hormones such as cortisol are at an all time high. These stress hormones can tighten muscles, Alter biomechanics of the spine and cause subluxation.
Other stressors from toxins such as herbicides, pesticides, medication, and pollution can cause subluxation along with physical trauma such as slip or fall or even microtrauma such as bad habits or posture. So the eighth take home message is that subluxation is caused by stress.
