Hey everybody, it’s Dr. Ellison. I just wanted to talk to you for a minute about a symptom that most people that we see in our office have yet. It wasn’t the symptom, uh, or problem that brought them in in the first place, and that is headaches. Headaches are something that I would say almost all of our patients. We’ll say they suffer with either at a very frequent basis, multiple times a week to at least once a month. In fact, over 46 million people will suffer from headaches every single year. The problem is, is that because they are so common, most people think that they’re just a normal part of life and they just kind of deal with it. Um, what I’m here to tell you is headaches are not normal. In fact, they’re far from it. We shouldn’t be getting them. And if we are, it’s the, it’s the body’s way of expressing itself, saying something is not quite right. In our office, we focus on finding the root cause of why people are suffering and. Even though there are many different causes of headaches, everything from dehydration to a strain, a strain of the eyes from sitting in front of a computer for too many hours a day, iron deficiency can cause headaches. But I would say one of the most common causes of headaches is something known as subluxations. Now, if you’ve watched any of our past videos or have been to a chiropractor, you may have heard this term subluxation. For those of you who do not know what it is. Subluxation very simply is any misalignment of the vertebrae of the spine that put pressure on the nerve system and dis disrupt the signal sent from the brain of the body. Once you disrupt the signal sent from the brain of the body, the body will malfunction and in many cases not always. But in many cases there will be some type of symptom arise. Headaches are one of the most common symptoms that come from having subluxations. So if you are suffering or you know someone that’s suffering from headaches and you’ve never, uh, you’ve just kind of, uh, masked them by taking medications or just dealt with them and you really want to find out if your headaches, what, first of all, what’s causing them, and if someone can actually help them go away. Well then give our, give our office a call. We’d love to see you, we’d love to find out exactly what’s causing your headaches, and if it’s subluxations, then I know we can help. So give our, give our office a call and we’ll see you soon.
